Accommodation in Nubra Valley
The scenic Nubra Valley is reachable via Khardong-la pass (5,600 m), the highest motorable road. From the top of the pass you can enjoy spectacular views of several Himalayan mountain ranges, like the Karakoram Range, Ladakh Range, and Zangskar Range.
The Nubra Valley with its Shayok and Nubra Rivers presents to the traveller various landscapes: There are sand dunes, Buddhist monasteries, lovely villages, small sacred lakes, and a Balti culture to discover. The capital of Nubra Valley is Deskit, 140 km away from Leh.
You will need a permit to explore this wonderful valley which we are happy to organize for you.

Accommodation at Pangong Lake
Welcome to Pangong Lake with its different hues of blue! About one third of this beautiful lake lies in Ladakh - the other two thirds are in China-occupied Tibet - on an altitude of 4,400 m above sea level. This destination has one popular spot: A sand spit nicknamed 'The Shooting Point' that got used as a film set for the Bollywood hit 'The 3 Idiots' (2009).

CAMP REDSTART, Spangmik
This camp is situated in the village of Spangmik, just 5 minutes walking distance from Pangong Lake. Good, spacious double tents with attached bath. Warm bedding with extra blankets. View of the lake directly from the tent. Simple, good food will be served in the main dining tent. Helpful staff.

Accommodation at Tso Kar & Tso Moriri
These two lakes in the South-East of Ladakh are maybe a little less popular than Pangong Lake. Nevertheless, they are worthwhile a visit. Tso Moriri lies on the Rupshu Plateau, also known as Changtang, where you can encounter Nomadic people. The two lakes of Tso Kar and Tasabuk Tso are very popular for birding, and offer amazing landscapes.

YAK CAMP at Pangong Lake has spacious, clean double tents with private bath. It is located just near the shores of the lake. Comfy accommodation with helpful staff, and own restaurant. The food will be served in the main dining tent.

Tso Kar Eco Resort, Tugje, near Tso Kar
This simple accommodation at Tugje village is about 160 km from Leh, best reachable via Taglang-la (height: 5,300 m). It is a basic, clean accommodation with double rooms, and two tents, all with private bath, and with views of the lake. Tso Kar is just at walking distance away. Simple, good food will be served in the main dining hall. Nice, helpful staff.
